KAJAANI TECHNOLOGY CENTRE
Kajaani Technology Centre consists of a group of growing technology enterprises, a research unit operating within the University of Oulu and services for enterprises. It is best known of its know-how in measurement technology. At present there are 55 enterprises located in the Park, with the total floor space of 48 000 m².

The Technology Center is involved in a network called Multipolis. Because of its know-how in measurement technology, the Center is known within the network as Measurepolis Kajaani. It consists of Kajaani Measurement and Sensor Laboratory, which belongs to the Research and Development Centre of Kajaani, an independent institute within the University of Oulu, the education provided by the Kajaani Polytechnic and the group of enterprises specializing in measurement technology in Kajaani Technology Park.

The Technology Center, which is located close to the centre of the town , offers its customers flexible solutions consisting of premises and services that suit their needs. Kajaani Technology Center operates as a bridge between education, research and enterprises. The Technology Center, which is mainly owned by the town of Kajaani, is a member of Finnish Science Parks Association (Tekel Ry).

Measurement and Sensor Laboratory, which operates in the Technology Park but belongs to the Research and Development Centre of Kajaani, an independent institute within the University of Oulu, implements research projects in co-operation with Finnish and foreign enterprises and other research units.

Business Incubator Innova is involved in founding new enterprises, launching new activities and refining business ideas. The services offered by Innova are available for setting up new business, and also for enterprises that have been set up recently.
